Sulaimani transfer to Switzerland was first reported in Saudi newspaper, Okaz. They reported, correctly, that Sulaimani has signed a deal with the Swiss club Neuchâtel Xamax and would join officially in Sunday 13 July - 2008 [1] He is only the third Saudi player ever to play in Europe, after Sami Al-Jaber and Fahad Al-Ghesheyan. In July 2009, two other Arab players signed for the same club. They are the Bahraini pair of Abdulla Ismail Omar and Abdulla Fatai.
